CCSO placed 3rd at this year’s Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (MACCDC).
Nine systems, 37 injects, one active red team #
Our team managed a network of nine systems (a router, two firewalls, three Windows servers, and three Linux servers) while working through 37 injects spanning both technical and business scenarios. The whole time, the red team had free rein to probe, exploit, and disrupt whatever they could find. Holding a top-three finish under those conditions took the whole team staying sharp for the entire competition window.

Congratulations to everyone who competed: Aidan Ethier (captain), Aiden Johnson, Evan Glickman, Daniel Thiriot, Isabella Masso, Asa Reynolds, Dhrupad Joshi, and me.
This is the same event where CCSO made history two years ago with a historic 2nd-place regional finish: the program keeps getting deeper, and it shows.
